We hold monthly work parties,  normally on a Sunday morning shown below. There are many jobs to be done along the river and something can be found for every one to do. We will aim to meet at 09:00hrs for a Safety and work Briefing.

The syndicate has a number of heavy tools that will be provided, but if members wish to bring their own tools please feel free to do so. If you have your own gloves, safety glasses and small tools this would be an advantage.

Please remember that some of the heavy tools may need special training before you use them. During your fishing trips if you find a part of the river that you think needs work done on it please contact the Syndicate with the details and a working party can be arranged for this area.

This is your chance to put something back into the syndicate’s work on the river and to improve all our fishing.

NB. BEFS members are required to attend at least two work parties each year, as part of their membership requirements.
